I was informed the other day by someone on my flist that they really enjoyed my food posts. Seriously...you should not encourage me! The number of my food posts have been increasing lately as it is. I think it first started with
gekidasa mentioning Japanese bloggers and their damn food posts, and it seems it's gotten out of hand, lol.
Speaking of food, I had a
catastrophic pasta failure yesterday. I was heating my Lean Cuisine lunch and looking forward to it very much. As I was taking it out of the microwave, I was trying to be careful not to burn myself and inadvertently let it go. It fell in a fantastic arc, in slow motion, and landed face down on the carpet. Sauce splattered all over the front of the kitchen cabinets. Pasta all over the floor in a tangled mess. It was a disaster.
But today's lunch more than made up for my sad one yesterday. I had seared ahi tuna and chicken lettuce wraps at the PF Chang's, always good choices. And here was something new - they now serve
mini desserts, which I think is absolutely brilliant! I always have to forgo dessert because it's just too much after a big meal, but these are perfect if you just want a small taste. They come in little shot glasses, and are so cute! I ended up getting two - strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu. Both wonderful!
My trip to the mall today yielded quite a haul, but I'll only post a picture of these lovely black shoes I got. I usually wear size 6.5, and I thought these were the same size. I came home and discovered they're actually 5.5! But they fit perfectly, so I'm not complaining.
( Sexy in black )--
I saw "Mamma Mia!" yesterday. It was...absolutely ridiculous. XDD But fun, nevertheless. I realized I only have ABBA on tape, and cannot transfer to iPod. Must remedy this ASAP. Tonight, "Journey to the Center of the Earth." And Tuesday, "The Dark Knight." I can't wait! ♥
I've also been messing around some more with 3rd party applications for iPhone. They're quite impressive, considering the ones I've downloaded are all for free.
